Project Description

The new emergency department at Kennestone Hospital will allow the hospital to see an estimated increase of 35,000 patients per year. The hospital will feature a new section of the hospital dedicated to pediatric patients completely segregated from adult patients including pediatric hallways and rooms. This keeps young patients from potentially “scary” parts of a hospital visit and allows doctors and nurses more space to address behavioral health issues that may pose a risk to other patients. The hospital is currently on schedule to open in the spring of 2020
